Since its inception in 2012, Joy, founder of Nature's Phenomena, found solace in capturing the beauty that is Nature. Not necessarily declaring herself as a "professional" photographer, she rather snaps photos of Nature to capture an essence, rather than from a technical-photographical standpoint.
About
Joy has always had a love of nature ever since she was a child. Growing up in the hill-towns of Western Massachusetts, Joy found herself engulfed in the wonders of her natural surroundings on a daily basis. It wasn't until her late 20's that she started to capture the beauty of nature in a photograph.
Coming from a family of photographers on her mother's side-- namely her grandfather, who owned a photography business and studio-- Joy began to delve into the world of capturing natural image into pixel form.
The use of "professional" cameras is intentionally not used or emphasized in Joy's work. Her philosophy is that the feeling & essence of a picture comes from the relationship between the person behind the camera and the image being captured, rather than the make and model of the camera being used.
